Am Wochenende vom 19. – 21. August 2016 findet der erste Sommer Hockey Cup des ESV Dresden in der Energieverbund Arena statt. Die Vorbereitungen dazu laufen bereits auf Hochtouren. So haben sich bereits acht Teams für das Turnier angemeldet. Darunter vier deutsche, ein russisches, ein holländisches, ein tschechisches und ein Euromix Team.
Los geht es bereits am Freitag ab 19 Uhr mit den ersten Vorrundenspielen, welche in der Trainingshalle ausgetragen werden. Am Samstag beginnt der zweite Turniertag bereits um 8 Uhr und soll bis 19 Uhr gehen. Gespielt wird dann, wie auch am Sonntag, in der Arena. Die Endrunde findet am Sonntag von 8:00 – 14:30 Uhr statt. Für Zuschauer wird ein Teil des Unterrangs in der Arena eröffnet. Weiterhin wurde mit dem aktuellen Caterer der Energieverbund Arena „Müllers Gastroservice“ eine Zusammenarbeit vereinbart. Dieser wird am Samstag und Sonntag Getränke zur Verfügung stellen.
Eine Neuerung wird es zu diesem Turnie
r geben. Da das Team der Prellböcke mit Gastspielern aufgestockt wird, legen wir den Namen „Prellböcke“ ab und treten unter dem Namen „ESV Cowboys Dresden“ an. Wenn man schon mit einem neuen Namen antritt, dann müssen auch neue Trikots her. Die Präsentation des Spieltrikots der „Cowboys“ findet spätestens zum Turnierbeginn statt.
Der ESV freut sich auf ein tolles Turnier und einen hoffentlich erfolgreichen Abschluss der „Cowboys“!
