Das mit Spannung erwartete Derby am Samstag bei den Ice Pilots bot viel für’s Eishockeyherz.
Die Prellböcke starteten endlich wieder von Beginn an mit Druck und Einsatz, statt mit schweren Beinen und Zurückhaltung. Die Ice Pilots kamen zwar auch nicht schlecht vorbereitet auf das Eis, mussten die Prellböcke aber bald mit 3:0 durch die 70er René S. #71, Danilo #75 und Daniel #77 davonziehen lassen.
Die Gastgeber blieben gefährlich und konnten zu Beginn des zweiten Drittels gleich verdient auf 1:3 verkürzen. Anschließend wurde das Spiel etwas zerfahren – beide Teams leisteten sich plötzlich immer wieder Derby-typische Strafzeiten. Das nutzten die weiter konzentrierten Prellböcke schließlich zum Vorteil und zogen um weitere 3 Tore davon. zum ende des Drittels trafen erneut Daniel #77, dann Hannes #34 und zum 6:1 Pausenstand René B. #43.
Das letzte Drittel sorgte für weitere Tore und spannende Szenen. So sorgte Daniel #77 mit seinem Hattrick für eine zukünftige Getränkeversorgung und die #52 der Pilots mit einem sehenswerten Alleingang zum 2:7 in einer 3-5 Unterzahlsituation. Erneut Hannes #34 und zuletzt Stefan #7 schraubten das Ergebnis auf unglaubliche 9 Tore bei den Gästen hoch. Die Piloten durften auch noch einmal jubeln und so geht ein 3:9 in die Wertung ein – die Prellböcke ziehen damit wieder an den Fröschen (!) vorbei an die Tabellenspitze.
Wir danken den Pilots für das gut organisierte Derby – insbesondere für die großartige Berichterstattung davor und danach. Auch wenn das Spiel die ein oder andere heftige Herangehensweise zeigte, so gab es zum diesjährigen Derby versöhnliche Töne und gleich die Vorfreude auf das nächste Aufeinandertreffen. Danke an die Schiris für den Einsatz und besonders wieder an die Fans, die endlich wieder 60 Minuten belohnt werden konnten.
