Am vergangenen Sonntag Abend bestritten die Eisenbahner ihr Pokal-Halbfinale in Niesky gegen die Biber aus Kunnersdorf. In einer spannenden Partie wog das Momentum hin und her und kein Team konnte sich entscheidend absetzen, so dass das Penaltyschiessen entscheiden musste. Hierbei zogen die Prellböcke denkbar knapp den kürzeren und verpassten den Sprung ins Pokalfinale. Letzte Saison noch gewannen die Prellböcke gegen die Biber im Pokal mit 4:3 n.P.
Das Finale bestreiten die Frösche aus Dresden gegen die Biber.
Damit konnte auch ein weiteres Saisonziel nicht erreicht werden. Es heißt nun den Piloten die Daumen drücken und zu hoffen, dass die Frösche noch einen Punkt liegen lassen. Weiterhin müssen die Eisenbahner noch ihre beiden ausstehenden Spiele gewinnen, um ein Wörtchen um den DTL-Titel mitreden zu können.
