Erneut folgten die Prellböcke einer Einladung nach Chemnitz und konnten gestern Abend dort gegen die Kieselstein Cracks spielen.
Der Gastgeber, wie gewohnt gut aufgestellt, begann die Partie druckvoll und hielt das Tempo über die gesamte Spielzeit hoch. Die Prellböcke konnten dem Druck anfangs widerstehen und verteidigten das Gehäuse von Goalie Thomas Gärtner fehlerlos. Zum Ende des ersten Drittels schwand jedoch die Konzentration der mit nur zwei Reihen spielenden Gäste. Chemnitz nutze dies eiskalt und kam in der Folge zu drei Torabschlüssen. Kurz vor der Pause gelang Andy Müller noch das 1:3. Das zweite Drittel verlief ähnlich druckvoll seitens der Gastgeber. Die Cracks konnten nun viermal Punkten. Die Prellböcke ihrerseits gingen hingegen leer aus und scheiterten einmal mehr am gut aufgelegten Kieselstein-Goalie. Im letzten Drittel gelang es den Gästen, das Spiel etwas offener zu gestalten und sich mit zwei Treffern, beide erneut durch A. Müller, zu belohnen. Die Gastgeber kamen ebenfalls noch zu einem Abschluss, sodass unter dem Strich ein völlig verdientes 8:3 zu Gunsten der Kieselstein Cracks stand.
