Nach etwas verwirrenden Leistungen zuletzt gegen die Pinguine oder gar mit der ersten Liga-Niederlage gegen die Frösche im März seit Jahren der Siege mussten die Prellböcke am Sonntag gegen die Pilots zeigen, wo das Team jetzt tatsächlich steht.
Das verheißungsvolle Derby startete ungewohnt schwungvoll seitens der Gastgeber. So konnten die ca. 40 Zuschauer (exkl. der Einsatzkräfte zum Hochsicherheitsspiel) bereits nach 10 Minuten 3 Prellböcke-Tore bestaunen. Die Eisenbahner spielten wie losgelöst und schraubten das Ergebnis bereits im ersten Drittel auf ein vorentscheidendes 6:0 hoch. Marco #89 traf hier ganze 3 mal, Rakete #83 (2) und Danilo #75 ergänzten diese Show.

Nach der ersten Pause hatte sich am Spielgeschehen nicht viel geändert. Die Prellböcke trafen weitere 4 mal (René S. #71 zweimal, Marco #89 nochmal sowie Stefan #7) und die Pilots rannten an – besonders durch Paul Ritter mit der #52, allerdings ohne Treffer gegen den starken Marcus mit Thomas‘ #54 im Kasten.
Letztes Drittel, nochmal 5 Tore der Prellböcke (René S. #71, Rakete #83, Stefan #7 und schließlich auch Daniel #77 und Erik #53). Nicht ganz unverdient, allerdings auch ohne ernster Gegenwehr der Prellböcke trafen die Piloten ein wenig tröstend immerhin noch zum 15:1.
Die Prellböcke führen damit die Tabelle ganz weit oben an und freuen sich darauf, diese Leistung zum nächsten Ligaspiel am 09.12. gegen die Freitaler Pinguine zu unterstreichen.
